62 Camden Mews by Ted Cullinan will be open on Saturday, 11 October, to celebrate the launch of the book At Home in London: The Mews House.
Those who purchase a copy of the book on the day will receive a free Architecture Foundation tote bag.
The architect Ted Cullinan and his wife Roz self-built 62 Camden Mews for their family's occupation over the course of three years of weekend labour. The first point of interest is its orientation: backed against a brick party wall that extends along the plot's northern boundary, it stands 90 degrees to the street. Prompted by the presence of two mature trees that are preserved within the resultant gap, this unusual siting ensures the property privacy and south-facing aspect.
