Studio Bua invites you to a print workshop and conversation led by artist Thóra Sigurðardóttir. Thóra’s practice explores substance, space, and drawing, with works held in international collections including the Living Art Museum, Reykjavík Art Museum, BBK Berlin, and The Met. Over the course of the workshop, participants will be introduced to simple printing methods using water-based inks, aluminium plates and found textures. The event also delves into the architectural and cultural impact of Nýp House, Studio Bua’s retreat in West Iceland, owned by Thora and her family. The session will feature a dialogue on how these rural spaces foster local engagement and artistic production. Guests are invited to enjoy birch and arctic thyme tea sourced directly from the grounds of Nýp.
