Join us on Saturday 30th August for a tour around 469 Bethnal Green Road, a recently completed project by Carmody Groarke.
Carmody Groarke have transformed a former 1970s textile workshop on Bethnal Green Road into a contemporary, low-carbon workspace, offering a compelling model for urban reuse. Once slated for demolition, the client Unity Land recognised the potential to retain, reuse and reinvent the building. The result is a deep retrofit strategy that prioritises sustainability, structural retention and architectural clarity.
