Join Krish Nathaniel and Bushra Mohamed on Saturday 17th August for a tour around central London highlighting several key markers of South Asian history.
Starting in Bloomsbury, we will navigate through Drummond Street, passing the Indian YMCA and the Amaravati Marbles, visiting the busts of Noor Inayat Khan, Rabindranath Tagore, and Jawaharlal Nehru. This will be followed by stops at both historic and contemporary architectural sites such as the Phoenix Garden Community Centre and the site of London’s first Indian restaurant, the Hindoostane Coffee House.
The tour marks the release of the publication 'South Asian History Map' which is available to buy now.
